Milestones Mental Health Agency, located in Uptown New Orleans, is a mental health rehabilitation agency for children and adolescents with severe emotional/ behavioral disorders.
Milestones's “Behavioral Health: Children and Adolescents Program” is accredited by CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities). Through this program, counselors and social workers from Milestones work with children at home and in school to provide personalized counseling and skills training, as well as offering parenting and family therapy.

need.
Hours are Wednesdays from 8:30am-5:30pm, Thursdays from 1pm-9pm, Fridays from 9am-9pm, and Saturdays from 8:30am-5pm. NOCHP has a dedicated team of specialty trained pediatric and mental health care providers that work to provide compassionate and comprehensive care to underserved communities in the Greater New Orleans area.
This program currently provides free mental health care including child psychiatry, social services including insurance enrollment, shelter/food assistance, health education, and direct medical care with after hours care and an On-Call pediatrician 24/7.

Talk It Out Van

The Talk It Out van brings mental health services to communities and individuals who may not otherwise have access to care.

BlueStone Ministries points individuals and families to specific resources available for recovery, and helps answer questions regarding options and services that meet individuals' needs. Project Last

Project Last, a program offered by the Children's Bureau, offers specialized Grief and Trauma Group and Individual Counseling to school aged children affected by trauma, loss, or disaster.
Project Last has been shown to be very effective in reducing symptoms in children who are in crisis due to trauma and community violence. The program is available to Orleans and Jefferson Parish children ages infant to 17 and their families who are survivors of traumatic events, witnesses to acts of extreme violence, or victims of violence.
