Free ACT & SAT Kaplan Practice Tests/Strategy Sessions at East Bank Regional Library
03/01/2008 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
To give students a leg up in today's highly competitive college
admissions market, Kaplan Test Prep, the nation's oldest and largest
provider of test preparation and admissions services, is offering a free
practice test for the SAT or ACT to area high school students. Students
will have the opportunity to sample one of the tests and gauge their
strengths and weaknesses during a practice test at the East Bank
Regional Library (4747 W. Napoleon Ave.) on Saturday, March 1st. The
ACT test will run from 10:00am-1:30pm in Meeting Room A while the SAT
test runs concurrently from 10:00am-2:00pm in Meeting Room B.
In addition to taking a free practice test under timed conditions that simulate the actual SAT and ACT administration, participants will be able to attend follow-up Kaplan Strategy Sessions, also free, in which students will receive detailed feedback on their performance, including an analysis of their strengths and weaknesses, helping them to adjust their preparation accordingly. Strategy Sessions for each test will be held on Monday, March 3rd, from 6:00-7:00pm. The ACT Session will be held in Meeting Room A, and the SAT Session will take place in Meeting Room B. Location:
East Bank
Regional Library (4747 W. Napoleon Ave.)
