New Orleans ACORN presents a fair to help Lower 9th Ward families who want to buy homes. The ACORN Contractors Association, ACORN Housing and ACORN Services will work with local banks and hardware stores to provide needed services. Residents also can sign up for free house gutting, lead testing and house painting.
