2009 Louisiana Tax Amnesty Program

Taxpayers with outstanding balances of taxes due the State of Louisiana can settle their accounts by paying all taxes owed, along with any assessed fees and 50 percent of the interest due.
For eligible accounts, the Louisiana Department of Revenue (LDR) will waive all penalties and the remaining half of the interest. The deadline is October 31. Eligible taxpayers can apply for amnesty and make payments online at www.LDRAmnesty.com. Click the link for more information from the LA Department of Revenue.

Louisiana Citizens Insurance Tax Credit

Residential and commercial property insurance policyholders will receive an income tax credit for the Louisiana Citizens Property Insurance Corporation regular and special assessments they paid because of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
